| I started here by removing the wheel on the passenger side and taking out the fender lining. Here is a factory spot for the wiring harness to go into the Z. I decided to snake the 6pin connection / wiring harness to the gauge here and route it under the glove box, through the dash / stereo area, and then under the factory instrument cluster dash ( instead of the A/C vent ). The black and red wire have nothing to do with the AEM wideband harness. These two wires are the power and ground for my water injection installed by Z1 two years ago. There is an inline fuse on the power wire. 
At this point, I have completed the 6pin wiring harness install that connects to the gauge. I cleaned up the entire area and reinstalled the radio bezel / all floor paneling. The only section left is the section that connects to the sensor. Once again, I use white out to label the left side ( driver side turbo ) AEM gauge. 
I already had two bungs welded into my exhaust, so I simply installed the sensor and hooked up the wiring harness and finally done ! ( pic of one side )
